Tumor Center

Please state the following when registering your patients:

• In which tumor conference should your patient be presented?
• The patient's master data
• Your contact details for the exchange of information, for consultations and referrals

When referring your patients, we ask you to provide detailed findings:

• the history of the illness
• reports and findings relating to the current illness (we do not require additional reports and images produced at the University Hospital Basel for the referral)
• on previous therapies (surgery, systemic therapy, radiotherapy)
• pathological reports
• Imaging documents: X-ray/CT/MRI images (original or on CD, no paper images)
• all medication currently being taken
• concomitant diseases
• also details of previous operations or serious illnesses

With this information, we can avoid redundant examinations and make communication with you uncomplicated. Please let us know if you have any specific ideas for therapy.
