The emergency center receives gold for its senior-friendliness

The USB Emergency Center has been awarded Gold Level by the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP). The first emergency center outside the USA.

This accreditation underlines the USB's commitment to providing the best possible care for elderly patients.

The GEDA program has been promoting the improvement of emergency care for older people since 2014.

The criteria include the provision of specially trained staff, senior-friendly medStandards and special equipment.
